Donate Your Flowers

At Unexpected Blooms, our flowers are generously donated from weddings, memorial services, charity, corporate and private events, wholesale and retail florists. We truly appreciate your willingness to contribute and help us share the joy of flowers with our community! 

It's never too early to submit your donation request; our volunteer calendar fills up quickly. A thirty to ninety-day advance notice greatly increases our ability to accept your donation.  Once your donation is approved, we will email you with details regarding payment options.

Note: We cannot repurpose flowers from outdoor events, stems shorter than 6," most flowers from arches, greenery alone, unprocessed wildflowers, or artificial flowers.

How It Works

Please fill out the form to initiate the donation process and allow us time to determine if we can accept your donation of flowers. Once accepted, and if you choose to donate financially over $250, we will send you a tax receipt within 10 days. Email us at info@unexpectedblooms.org with questions. We appreciate the vases and containers from your event, but this is not required.

*Please note that for donations, we may be able to arrange to have one of our volunteers pick up the flowers at the venue itself, but this is not always possible. To help us with this process, please coordinate your donation as soon as possible.
